IRCAD 1st Global Summit and IRCAD Taiwan 15th Anniversary Celebration

We were honored to host the first Global IRCAD Summit in Taiwan, gathering IRCAD leaders from around the world to discuss strategies, future development, and to strengthen international collaboration within the IRCAD network. The Grand Dinner also marked the IRCAD Taiwan 15th anniversary celebration, a fitting culmination of such a momentous event. From the organizers and speakers to the attendees, everyone agreed that this event set a new standard with its meticulous planning and creative highlights, leaving a lasting impression.

Given the lasting memory of the previous summit's gala dinner at a Michelin three-star chef in a French château, the bar was set high for this event. Understanding the significance of this occasion, our team personally scouted and tested over 30 restaurants before selecting the perfect culinary team, curating a menu that beautifully combined Western and local flavors with the freshest ingredients. To immerse guests in Taiwan's cultural heritage, the historic Lin Family Mansion and Garden in Wufeng was chosen as the venue, allowing attendees to arrive early for an exclusive guided tour of this iconic site, deepening their appreciation of its history and stories.

The evening's performances were a tribute to Taiwan’s cultural diversity and spirit. The event opened with an energetic dance by Indigenous children, showcasing the vitality and authenticity of Taiwanese culture. This was followed by a breathtaking performance of "Queen of the Night" from The Magic Flute, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the pipa and erhu. The atmosphere shifted into an interactive session of Taiwanese opera, where foreign guests were invited to try traditional spear-handling techniques, filling the venue with laughter and applause. The evening reached its peak with a live band, as guests from all over the world sang along, creating unforgettable memories together.

This summit was an exceptional platform to showcase Taiwan's innovation, diversity, and cultural richness. Attendees noted that this event will remain in their memories for a long time. Our team’s dedication to detail and commitment to excellence were clearly reflected in the success of the summit.
