Asia-Pacific Quality Management Summit
To align with international standards, Changhua Christian Hospital, in collaboration with the Joint Commission of Taiwan (JCT), Taiwan Healthcare Quality Association (THQA), and National Chung Hsing University, hosted the Asia-Pacific Quality Management Summit (APQMS). For the first time in Taiwan, the presidents of both ISQua and ASQua delivered keynote speeches at this summit, marking a historic moment. Their presentations offered groundbreaking insights into healthcare quality and patient safety, while fostering opportunities for broader international collaboration.
This international gathering brought together leading experts and scholars in healthcare quality and patient safety, including Deputy Minister Lin Ching-Yi and Director-General Liu Yueh-Ping of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, THQA Chairman Jeng Shaw-Yeu, JCT Vice Chairman Tsai Sen-Tien and Board Member Wang Pa-Chun, and Patient Safety Society Advisor Chan Liao Ming-Yi, along with hospital leaders and quality management professionals from across Taiwan.
The two-day conference showcased a robust program with 26 sessions, including 4 keynotes, 3 lectures, and 19 academic presentations. These sessions addressed a wide range of timely and relevant topics on trends and challenges in healthcare quality management. Attendees highly praised the event for its well-rounded agenda and the expertise of its speakers.
